I'm working on writing a code to control the printer I'm makeing and I don't know were to write it.

I know my friend uses a website that has code for printers, it's called Arduino.com

since you don't have much time i suggest to look at some working examples. you should be able to find openSource examples. you might find examples even in Playground @Sololearn. get more than one sourceCode so you can compare them. i think it might be too time consuming to get into detail, instead of getting bogged down keep searching for more examples of code. you can probably get help from Manufacturers or Vendors, ie., Hewlett Packard, Google. i have no qualifications pertaining to your project. These are just suggestions to help you get started generally i think it's a good way to start.. search the web for more info.

In some Canon Printer, the users get these manual features so that they can make an easy access. If they face errors like https://errorcode0x.com/fix-canon-printer-error-code-5b02/ that must be resolved by them only.
