To create games on Android, it is better to use the engine. It's simpler and even more interesting, although you'll have to learn how to draw in a 3d editor. I recommend the engine "Unity".

Use unity. It does cost $35.00 a month but that’s only if you plan on publishing the apps(App Store google play etc.) otherwise it is free.
