Not really a best language, or a best first language really. It's relative to the individual and relative to what your personal goals/dreams are in the short/long term.
What are your goals? I'd focus on the things that'll compliment your short term goals, as well as your long term goals. If you're going into something that requires you to specialize in Java, then focus on Java first. If you never plan to use Python, then learn Python when you have free time and are bored, or not at all.
Personally, at this point in time, I'd probably focus on something like Java or C#. They're both relatively easy, powerful, and popular languages. As well, they're both C-based syntax, so transitioning into other C-syntax based languages is easier. However, I'm mostly a game and mobile developer, so those are also ideal for me.
My first language was C++ back in the 90s, and I turned out alright. Regardless of which option you pick, you'll have a lot of learning and practice to do, so none of the above is going to provide you with an "easy" route to being a master programmer. Any option requires a lot of hard work and dedication to master.

I don't prefer Python to be first language as it is easy to use and it may not build concepts.
Java and C# may turn out to be complicated for beginners.
I prefer C to be first language as it is basic and will help to build concepts.
