@Arjun Arsen, no, there are definitely an abundance of sites still available through this attack vector. It's been a heavily vocalized issue of concern in the InfoSec community, so surely many admins are currently fortifying against this potential threat. Because of this, SQL injection is an important concept to familiarize yourself with as a white hat.

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are essential to know, as well as having a strong familiarity with SQL (injection) and PHP. Python is also quite popular for designing your own tools.

For device-side ethical hacking, you don't even need a language at times. Scripting languages are handy: Bash, Python, Perl. Ethical hacking does not incorporate programming languages as much as some people may believe.

it depends on what kind of a hacker do you want to be. familiarity with C helps you build upon existing programs also helping you code your own exploits. Python can be used for a number of tasks like looking for vulnerabilities, port scanning and also creating your own backdoors that successfully evade anti viruses.C++ perl and ruby are also great but I wouldn't concentrate more on writing them but rather reading the code.
