Why do we need to learn html5? What's new in it?

As i have seen requirement of html5 in several Web sites for Web dev, i thought this will be the best platform to Ask.

There's a lot new in HTML5
Can't list all of them. You can go through the HTML course.
Also, in HTML5 things like "bgcolor" are not used. Instead , CSS is used.

HTML5 is new version of HTML. You can develop your own webpage interactive and more attractive. You can give styles through CSS, make it interactive using JavaScript and do animation using HTML5. This is just like the revolution in making webpages.
