What's the easiest way to talk to a non-coder about the digital world?
When speaking to non-'computerPeople' what is your best approach? Whether it be a professional encounter or your gramma, how do you come at this kind of situation?

I try to use analogies. I.e Try to compare the topic in question to something the listener is already familiar with.

playing a game iFTT
granny: If I raise my right hand you say "hooo"
if I raise my left hand you say "haaaaa"
if I say "plus 3 3" you add 6.....
make it more complicated and tell your "audience" you play that game with a Computer.
Another way:
A Computer is a cook:
I give him a reciept and ingredients and he cooks for me prime numbers.

I try to avoid it. When someone wants to hear something, I use specialist terms and he/she goes away.

@Oma Falk Hmm... tasty.

Take it slow, don't use any 'specialized' words as it can become ambiguous and frustrating.
