Getting a job as programmer without experience is possible. It does happen. The more you bring to the table the more likely it becomes. If they have someone with decades of experience or you to choose from, you lose. If they have two people who have never held a job, but you can show working code and the other can't, you win. Progress as best you can, attempt every entry level job position you see, and you too will get hired.
