I do all mine on my android but as Farshaad Heydari says, it is tough. Much easier with a computer

hi.
it used to be only Java ( official and main language).
but a relatively new language have been supported for Android , it's called kotlin
and u need the Android studio software (it supports both Java and kotlin and it's free )

Thx and do I need a pc or can it just be done solely on an android phone?

a PC is strongly recommended.....
( u can write code on Android devices using something like "AIDE" app. but u will have so much hard time doing it that u probably won't complete learning it)
