3. Eloquent Javascript by Marijn Haverbeke
4. You don't know Javascript (Book Series: Up&Going; Scope&Closure; this&Object Prototypes; Async&Performance; ES6&Beyond.) By Kyle Simpson
ALL IN PDF.

These are the best teach yourself books I've come across. They helped me a lot and I'm sure they will help you. By the time you've gone from 1 to 4 completely: Start building projects from to do lists and calculators etc, you'll become conversant with functions and structures (variables, arrays, objects) and how to actually apply them in real life projects. A whole new world of possibilities will be opened up for you.

And Lastly:
JavaScript For Kids For Dummies. (a project based book) by Chris Minnick and Eva Holland. If you absolutely don't know your way around Javascript.
