Yup, try changing the path, if this doesn't work, reinstall the full jdk including jre

I'm under environment variables, when trying to create a new path for jre, it deletes the old path for jdk. should I go on with it?

And check out if you gave full jre installed and not only the jdk, cuz there's a package without jre to download...

Normally, ou should be able to choose between with jre or without, but yes there are standalone jre packages try installing one... Otherwise, full uninstall all and reinstall complete
