What do you think about Rust (language)?

Question

I am quite interested in it, though it's a new language. Also how about some sololearn lessons in rust (basics maybe)?
I'm currently working with c# which rocks. I just wonder if a different paradigm is worth learning.
Also wondering about Haskell, but it looks like it's not worth the effort (pragmatically speaking).

From what I saw, they do look understandable by humans, making them easy to learn, but, what do you want to code? Imagine if I ask "What to learn?" HTML may come up as an option, but i prefer coding for games, not websites. Additionally, check to see who's hiring if you are trying to land a job. If this is a fun hobby, and that's it, do what I do. Just, learn. If it appeals, try it out, no one can say whether or not it's good, unless it's, of course, a virus.

If Haskell doesn't look worth the effort (HTML for game programmers), don't put too much into it. Try it, of course, but if you don't like the language, you don't HAVE to learn it.

Rust looks quite interesting and in about half a year, I'll have the time to learn it.

Here is an update on my previous answer: I started learning Rust and find it super cool. Although I also know C++, Rust is my first choice when it comes to writing high performance apps now.

Yeah I guess you are right. I'm mostly coding desktop apps (based on what I need or what projects I have running), maybe I'll land a job with c#.. who knows. I'm also branching out in the web direction (mvc and api-s, mostly for employment reasons). So from this perspective learning a new language isn't the first priority. I just find rust interesting and maybe I'll look into it a as a hobby.
