Looking at your profile, you've barely touched upon one course. I'd start by finishing the course and learning the language, then worry about improving your skills through raw experience, practice, and honing your skills further through application of your skills.

This is how I learn:

Read through the course all the way even if you don't understand it yet. Practice what you can remember. Read through the course again but this time write down notes of any concept you still don't fully understand. Afterward you'll want to use your notes and go extensively research the concepts you don't understand yet. Then practice those concepts so you can solidify your learning. Repeat this process until you're able to go through the courses and not write down concepts that you don't understand still.

Recipe:
Stir up the practicealot and slowly add readreferences to it until it gets more solid. Then you carefully fold the experiment to this mixture. Spice it up with some learnfrommistakes and serve it with learnfromcritique.

You get the best taste from it if you drink an ice-cold dontgetfrustrated with it.
