My first thirty seconds on here and I'm assuming coding is just a newer term for languages like Microsoft DOS was in my hi SC?

I'm sick of wishing and watching the revolution pass me up. I want to plug in and learn add much add fast as I can. where do I start?

Java is a bit more old-fashioned, since you see the results on console, mostly (at least at first) that is why I recommended Html and CSS (Its all web development) and you can se your own page and all the styles you are applying just with refresh. If you are having troubles with Java, you can ask here, there are a lot of people who can help you. Happy Coding ! :)

Indeed, courses and questions are very interactive and fun! still, web development is in more demand that everything, because all are getting mobile, Java is used to develp androids app, so you are alright!

As I assume, for the basic learnig courses you need not more then skills from MS DOS. Because these starting lections and examples are for command lines running. And this is simmilar as the MS DOS work.

Now that I have started messing around with Java I see a definite pattern. I appreciate the support on here already. it's a great way for a novice to at least get their feet wet before making any life altering decisions like going for a masters degree. thanks to you

I see what you mean. I would enjoy more than a bunch of script. I felt like I see more demand for Java and it was basic so that's where I began. the speed of learning this way through these courses is addicting
