What happened as a difference between inside and outside? The shape of the page look the same

The example when specifying an image as the bullet point for the list doesn't change between inside and outside. however specifying a square bullet point shows the difference more clearly. Obviously the image size is affecting the inside / outside spacing. Remember the browser page calculates the size of each element based on the size of the "canvas" that is being shown to the user. if specific sizes are not mentioned then the browser will adjust the elements to make them fit.
