Java is easy (from personal experience.) C++ is intuitive (to me at least) I started programming robots in java before I knew what a class was, so java is pretty easy. A lot of people start on it, though.

i would say python thats is a beginner lanuage and it will be learn in the unniversity. phython is a scripting lanuage with that you get fast results. with this you have a basic how it works. Did you have the basic you have to choice what would you develop?! for that you search in the internet read some post wich language you need to realize your own projekt. Someone will be say that c is for beginner. on my expirience i know that some beginner give up if they reach the pointer logic.

i started with c after that c++ and i can tell that THDevelop is right about the pointer barrier but after the strugle you learn the good programming maners very early if you start with c or even java
