What is HTML5?

I m learning HTML, and I don t understand when it says "[...] not supported in HTML5" help me please :(

Is that "[...]" really how it is written? in which chapter was that? "Not supported" means a certain tag that was commonly usable in previous HTML version standard is no longer encouraged to be used in HTML5, these "unsupported" things can still be written into HTML5 document, and browsers will still display/use them, for backward compatibility measures, but having them written in a HTML5 document means that the document is not fully HTML5 standard compliant. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element Look for "Obsolete and deprecated elements" section (might need to scroll down a little)

HTML5 is a newer version of the old HTML’s. It was created by Mozilla, Opera and Apple inc in 2014.
