How can I place a link to my FaceBook profile in "My Blog"html?

How can I place my fb profile in the html course section of the "My Blog" file so the link actually works? I've tried <a herf="></a>, <li></li>, and it didn't work. All I got was the words I placed for the link to show but no go.

I've tried replacing "&" with "%26"

you should write <a href="path/to/your/facebook">My Facebook Profile</a>

I tried it like this
<a herf="https://www.facebook.com/buschbrock">My Facebook Profile</a>

What did I do wrong?? It still doesn't form a link, the words are there but there's no connection.
I got the facebook link right of my wife's profile looking at mine.
