What are the benefits of learning c++ & java now a days . Is it still beneficial today.

They are 3rd generation languages and I think that
the world don't need them anymore because there are more simple languages available for the same task

Well im still learning myself but i already know quite a bit of java
I find it very useful and as far as i have heard knowing them makes learning most other languages easier, also they are used in a lot of things still, most jobs i see on upwork, Or other sites like it, are using c++, java, or its a web development job, Im not sure how you think the world "Doesn't need them anymore"
There might be simpler languages yes... But they are simpler and cant do as much nor as fast, Why learn 5 "simple" languages when you can do it all and much more with 1? But its still your choice to learn or not
