could you be more precise on what you need ?

If you need only a text editor there are plenty of them on the web, if you need an IDE, you should try code::blocks. It isn't the best but simple enough to start to learn cpp

Other IDEs are more complex and have way more options or "add ons" that you won't use.

If you want, you can try the Express version of Visual Studio, you should be able to do what you want with it.
