Nothing really. The whole elegant adjective nonsense can be applied to all languages objectively. The only thing that means anything in that statement is that C# is a programming language that supports the object orientated programming paradigm. Basically, C# has classes and objects.

I don't know about Maxwell, but when I went out to dinner with C#, it was very elegant. Best night ever!
Basically, the elegant adjective is actually referring to its style and cleanliness compared to some other languages. It's trying to imply that it's easier/cleaner to deal with its syntax and OOP concepts, which I agree with.
