Color input opens by clicking the name

Question

Hey Guys, following issue (js, HTML, CSS):

1. in var player1 = prompt() User enters two names
2. get Name by document.elementGetId().innerHTML = player1
3. create <Input type="color" id=color_p1>

question: Now i want that If User clicks on the names, the <Input type=color should Open to Change the color of His Name

I hope anyone can solve this problem.
i tried a lot without success :(
