What will happen to programmers when AI will learn programming skills?

That's not how AI works atleast not how it currently works. AI is kind of like a brute force expert system. You take a large amount of data then you have to clean all the data by just taking information that is relevant to the problem. Then we need to get the result we want for each set of parameters. Once you have done that you input the data and fit the flow of the data to the result. This is traditional neural network AI. The system is basically building a set of rules that correspond with an output you desire. This works great with problems that are similar or never change. Programming is not one of those problems. Libraries change everyday; The problem you are trying to solve in programming changes. The only thing you can really do with AI in programming is enforce best practices and we can do that with a tokenizer anyway.

Then the AI will program more AI which will program even more AI until the world is taken over by AI.
