Mu labtop is lenove g-580 ...and i want to insall ubuntu on it but i couldnt....because i don now his can i open the boot menu??

This is not the right place to ask about this topic. Maybe a specialized forum on the subject can give you better results.

PS: In the Lenovo forum there are several threads about it. If I remember correctly that series of models have a small button next to the power button, if you have it, it allows you to access the boot menu and BIOS settings.

yes i have this small button but when i pressed on it and chose "boot menu" the recovery appears not the menu
