I have an issue with running codes in code blocks

Whenever I run a code, code blocks starts laging (which, I assume, is normal), but then it freezes and I can't do anything but close code blocks. This happens always; when I click "Build" first (which goes smoothly) and then "Run" (when the lag starts) and when I just click on "Build & Run". Is this an actual issue or should I just wait for it to finnish running? I mean, my PC isn't that slow, and I waited for more than 15 minutes - it was still frozen( sololearn console runs codes in few seconds).

Alternate solution: use a different IDE

I had kinda the same issue with Code::Blocks a few months back.
But for me it happened every time I typed #include <algorithm> for some reason.

Probably the easiest solution would be to download/reinstall the newest Code::Blocks version. ( which worked for me )

Or do as Maxwell suggested.
