vaxo chachua The tag doesn't require an end tag, and the slash / is optional in HTML5. You can type it as <hr> just fine.

Edit: Sorry, a typo in the most important part =,= just edited
Hey y'all, don't be overdramatic, kk?
<hr /> is a self-closing tag. This is a shortened form of <hr> </hr> and is only valid for void content (which is, no content inside) elements. You can find a list of them on w3schools or here:
http://xahlee.info/js/html5_non-closing_tag.html

For the last time vaxo chachua
The tags <hr /> <hr> and <hr/>
are not valid closing tags
The opening tag is <hr>
The closing tag is </hr>
Them three you mentioned are not the same as they do not work as a closing tag
Please remember ‘/‘ comes first then the tag name
Naty only copied their last response to your previous deleted post as this one is very similar
Stop complaining please Vaxo
Thank you

Please stop posting very similar questions and then deleating them
Your answer to all of your questions you have deleated are the same:
In an end tag you use / before the name such as </hr>
With no spaces

So sad I can’t refer to you in the same way. Why don’t you learn proper English first? All of the answers to your questions can be easily found online in seconds anyway.

As previously mentioned the end tag looks like this </TagName>
so for your example it would be </hr>
Not any of the others you mentioned
However the begining tag looks like this <hr>
