but you can use sublime because of it's black background to help prevent against ergonomic issues from computer related illness particularly the computer vision syndrome (CVS)

Yes, we can. Notepad++ can handle may languages. I've been using it before and am still using it now. Anyway, for HTML I'm using now Visual Studio Code, because it's very powerful and has a nice dark interface...
