Laravel is just a famework ie its like a template in a word document it sets out the basic stuff, but you still need to know PHP, HTML, Mysql, css and the basics of a few other languages. So I would suggest getting HTML under your belt first. Then going from there.

Try to acquire HTML and CSS basic knowledge and then jump to Laravel that would make it more efficient to learn.
