Points 5 and 6 are extremely important. The more practice and exposure to a material you are learning is important. When you write something down you are repeatedly looking at the material, from original to copy and this is exposure to the material. Point 6 will help with application of the material, which exposes you to circumstances where you will have to make connections between different material you have learnt and you will have to learn new material or create new concepts of what you already know.
