Can I Post a YouTube Video of Mine if it's directly programming related?

I have a small YouTube channel, and I'm going to be posting a video about programming which will include a segment promoting the Sololearn app. Does this fall outside of the community guidelines?

My interpretation and experience says that posting links to external content for educational purposes is a good contribution to the community, but please do so in your personal feed or in response to someone else's question, as long as it's relevant to their question. Posting links to external content that promotes a product or service is not allowed. https://www.sololearn.com/Content-Creation-Guidelines/

If I ran a pool, and someone decided to run their own swim lessons and charge for them, I'd want them to (at minimum) ask permission and for me to get a cut of the proceeds in return for the risk my business takes on for having them around (i.e. potential drownings, water recreational illnesses, etc.). I would imagine that it's not that different here (just less death and disease).
