Algorithm to earn experience [Win XP] in challenges

Question

On what depends experience gaining in challenges. I am on lvl 7. Once I can get 5xp when I challenge somebody on 8 lvl. Next time I can earn 22xp for game with guy on 5lvl. Do you have the same experience? :)

Grzegorz it's like that because their XP in the language you challenged them is lower than you.

Too bad that in the challenge screen it doesn't show the level of the person in that particular language.

All it shows is your general level: sum of all your courses.

I experience the same. I found a user who when challenged would give me 17xp if I won. Too bad he keeps declining and I have to challenge others for a mere 5xp stake :(

Yes. I'm not sure, because it does not follow a simple rule. Maybe, it´s based on questions difficulty.

Maybe you are right Heroes Killer but questions difficult shouldn't be proportional to player experience? ;)

I absolutely agree with you, difficulty is a relative term. Nevertheless, the world isn't fair, is it? I'm not sure how challenge-adding system works here, gonna look at it at night. :)
