What are the best things to use c# for?

I mainly use it with unity, which I guess counts as visual studio. Or does it? are there any other programs or engines that use it?

Unity and Visual Studio are NOT the same thing.
Almost every popular programming language has libraries to practically everything.
Just search what do you want to do in C# (e.g C# Android Apps) and you'll probably find a result.

Far as I know c# can be applied to an almost infinite number of applications, I use it mainly to write macros for my cnc machine at work
