Why do some Sololearners intentionally reset their courses?

We know that some unlucky ones accidentally reset a course to realise that they have lost all XP related to it (including challenge XP). But why do some do this on purpose? Is it to repeat the course? Don't they realise that they can repeat a completed course? Or is it to once again get a sense of where they're up to using progress bars, completion ratios etc.?

I'm resetting the course sometimes😂. I do so to learn a language better😇. It is not your 👉 level or XP 👈that determines your ability. So study well ✌️.

The lessons are great. But doing them once is not enough to memorize everything. On the other hand, repeating the lessons in an arbitrary way is not very motivating. Thats why I prefer the progress bars. I would not reset the course if there would be a better way to actually learn by structured repetitions and practice lessons.

It seems to me that if you have some good answers in these courses and couple of upvotes, the XP also increase. So take with care, if you reset because you want more XP ^^

Like, when I originally did the CSS course, being an absolute newbie, I lost a lot of XP (I mean no +XP, not -XP here), hence, I reset and redid the course.

I'm sharing my thoughts: Suppose you have started learning a programming language, you have completed many challenges but you have lost most of them!! But now you have come to position that none can beat you!! So You want to make your winning matches more than lost matches!! That's why you can reset your course!! Whereas Other can do that to get more skilled in that language!!

Sonic I have recently made a post asking this question, also I reset my progress to get a sense of where I stand with my learning, each day I try to get back to where I was or a little in front, it gives me a great recap of learning, this is the last day of my first week at solo learn and damn 3 more weeks I think I may master the fundamentals! edit: C#

Now let me tell yall the truth no one will. I also do that. It's a simple trick to reduce your number of lost challenges. 😉 .
