For any novice learners, what is the best coding program to start off of?

Html for markup. Try python for a programming language.

When you say coding program do you mean language? if so, I started out with python. It's a great language to learn as a base. It is widely accepted, object oriented and starts you off with a great base knowledge.

If you did not mean language, try CoderByte. It offers different challenges in all different languages that way you can be exposed to as many problems as you would like.
