What is objective c

Question

I thought that c language is the same to objective c but it does not so what is the defference between both of them and why there is no objective in solo or maybe it is not in the language section

Like C++, Objective C started with C and added OOP to it. Objective C's OOP was based on Smalltalk, while C++'s was based on Simula. Objective C never really caught on mainly being used for Apple development, until they switched to Swift.
