Ups and downs of C#?
I was wondering is someone can point out the ups and downs of C#. I would google it but asking someone with experience is much better in my opinion. I'm not sure if I wanna learn C# as a backup language or something. Any help is welcome.

from my experience C# is mostly used for any kind of windows applications as well as for AR/VR (with Unity) and Xamarin apps for all three major mobile platforms. Eventually learning any language is helpful because the idea behind them is quite similar. Learning one of them helps you understand others easier.
Most modern (high) programming languages allow you to do a lot of things, so it's mostly depending on what you want to produce. As I said before, C# is quite common on Windows software. So if this is what you're looking for, then you don't make a wrong decision with C#. If you're going for games, web or Unix development you might look for a more appropriate language.
