What is iframe ?

some how i can't understand what iframe is so please explain to me it's important and what is used for

"Inline Frame" - not supported in HTML 5. It is used to display a webpage within a webpage, or you might say, it can display any content you want inside of your current webpage. They are inefficient as Jason mentioned above, and are no longer supported. Cheers.

its a window you create that you can place anything in there like a movie or another webpage..think of it as a mini browser or interactive frame.

they are not used much due to inefficient loading times
