Code with bad/infinite loop can cause issues in the app like being stuck, unable to exit, or web codes not working then onwards.
Happens mostly with web-codes but sometimes can include non-web codes.

Also, it's best not to share infinite loop or codes which crash/hang the app(keep them private with a disclaimer).

For why they don't have anti crash mechanism you should ask them for a definite answer.(By sending feedback)
