Programmer is always smarter, because he can adapt and improvise ;)
Machines are also pretty "clever" today though. Since they can take more data into account than human.
However this question better fits to your feed.
In Q/A only programming related questions should be posted. Thank you 😊

Daydream SoloLearn was created for teaching programming to beginners. Therefore, they want the Q&A to have helpful programming information those beginners can learn from.
They did not want to create another social media application. Though with their new features of activity feed posts and messaging they have gotten there.

Ër Krïshñâ the programmer is smarter as Matthias stated. However, the day is coming that it will become even as AI advances improve the machines adaptation and improvising skills. Machines can already beat us in the knowledge catergory as they can store more data than us.

I found this question quite interesting, what do you imply by being "smart"?
Do you mean the ability to learn and solve things, or to express emotion and feeling?
PS: I know it's against spam but Why SoloLearn didn't create a topic category, where everyone can speak and explain freely instead of "This question better fits to your feed. In Q/A only programming related questions should be posted. Thank you"

Maybe the day when we fully understand quantum machine that we can say that machines are smarter than humans ^^
Jonh Wells, it's not about social Media where you talk about your life and stuffs, but things that are related to programms univers that aren't necessary about code and programming language.
Beginners or not you still need to feel comfortable in the community. Why so serious? Coding is also but creativity and have fun but hey it's just my pointview =)

I think computers can be smarter than programmers. Take the AlphaGo project for example. The programmers made a program that not only played Go better than any of them, but also defeated a Go master.
