i think programming is exactly a practical skill. The only thing we can do is doing more coding and thinking then coding again to verify our idea. i think it will make a difference. Good luck!

Dry run is the best techniques to learn logic of programs. Dry run means execution of whole program on paper then you can understand whole procedure of program how control is flown from one method or one class to another.
