Create projects. This is by far the best way of learning. Makes you learn so much more than when you just read/watch videos about coding. Later edit: 1. Write down what you learn. Writing it with your hand makes you retain better. 2. Rehearse what you've learn. That doesn't mean reading again, but thinking again about the answers. When you read again, it feels familiar and you think you've learn it, but that't not true. You've learn it when you can recollect it again and again. 3. Create projects 4. Teach others like Swarn said, it's very true. Teaching others will make you realise what you don't know yet.

Both the above are correct. You can also remember what you learned by teaching it to somebody else. Teaching others what you're learning helps in memory retention.

As I got older recall feels more difficult. I need something quick and easy. So I incorporated fast and easy retrieval by having my own sets library that I commonly use. Even my libraries are sorted. We all know memory fails to be perfect but there is nothing wrong with having notes or internet. However internet cant be taken everywhere which I find it hard to access while travelling around the world

Gabriel Vasile Thank you for writing this answer. I would just love to further hear from you that how does one get some ideas on which project to work on and with the amount of knowledge one has? Also, some website for help in that area, if any?

Just to add a little on that second point that Gabriel Vasile talks about. You can take part in online competitions it will not only help you in learning but also motivate you to get better
