I find it simple and easy to code in. There are also great tutorials on their website to help.

If you mean to write graphics such as for a 2d or 3d game, it is better to create a game window and use libraries and toolkits that make it simpler. I use and suggest SFML. It is also important to have a good grasp on c++ as a language first. Hope this helps.
