I have the problem with sololearn app. Sometimes when use home wifi i have message: please check the internet connection.
When I switching to mobile internet everething is ok. I am sure that the problem in the sololearn app, because home wifi internet works excellent. As a rule this problem I see at the beginning of working with sololearn. Android phone 1+5T.

Check the data usage settings, in wifi section. may be Background data for sololearn is disabled.
Check the setting it may work
