Really any computer is fine for programming depending on the kind of coding you want to do. If you want to make a game it would be wise to have a computer that can run high graphic games.

It depends on what programming field you want to work upon , if you want to work on android programming than your system should be very good to run the android studio but if you are working in web development php,html etc.. than a normal system with 1-2 Gb ram and a good processor will work fine.
