Can someone please help me with this one? Character issues

Question

I just started learning coding and choose Python as my programming language. But I am having troubles with some characters, like "é", "ã", and some others. I tried to use the UTF stuff and all, but it still doesn't work properly. What am I missing here?

To enable UTF-16, add this at the beginning of your code:

import sys, codecs
sys.stdout = codecs.getwriter('utf_16')(sys.stdout.buffer, 'strict')
