Rpg for wordpress

Question

I want to create an online rpg called Star Sailors, sort of like swtor and starwars combine on my wordpress website. Basically i imagine the player being able to choose their species and their ship, and colonizing planets. It will be a multiplayer game that players have to register for. Can i do this with posts and pages or should I instead code it, and what languages should i learn? Thanks and merry xmas.

In wordpress? Idk, but you can learn php and make this perfectly.

Calvin wordpress is brilliant bc it isnt just a blogging platform, facebook is an example of a popular website that utilisies wordpress. It powers 26%of websites around the world and it is incredibly flexible and offers thousands of plugins and responsive templates. It was great when I started out 3 years ago and the site is so big now that I dont want to have to rehaul everything for the 1000 members on the site. The game is sort of an addon to the website. I didnt choose wordpress to make a game, i chose it to make a website for my company and now people think that a game would be fun. Im not going to completely overhaul my website for one small thing like this. It is not a game website first and foremost

Hello! I am the creator of the first-ever RPG for WordPress.
Although it is similar to Ikariam it might be adapted to what you want. The game mechanics are editable and so are the graphics so it's a great starting point for some types of Role Playing Games.
