why do people take the non-coding posts so seriously?

If you look, there are a lot of "unproffessional" posts on here, more than can really be dealt with. But people still get all triggered if you say something not as serious as everyone calls for. This isnt exactly a chatroom, but its uneccasary be such a buzzkill when there are hundreds of other silly posts coming in

Definitely, HantHelt, people enjoy their 'trivial entertainment' too, and SoloLearn doesn't really have a place for that.

There's the personal feed, but if you're not a 'celebrity', not many people will see what you post.

You can discuss in the comments of codes, in private chat, in the feed posts of others... but not in a place where everybody has a chance to see it.

Nevertheless, instead of corrupting the q&a by filling it up with small talk (which leads to real questions not getting seen), let's ask SoloLearn via e-mail to add an 'off-topic' mother thread to the list, like every online forum has one.

HantHelt, this is supposed to be a place for programming-related questions.

The reason you find so much babble here is that more people make accounts than any size of mod army could ever tell to read the guidelines first.

That doesn't equal to a permission for everybody (including you) to contribute to the babble.

I still think people get too worked up over it, I suppose however, the fact that lots of people do it doesn't mean it's good. Anyway some of the most liked posts are ones that are not serious
