Ryan Sort Art Under Android version app this can be switched off from Settings → Push Notifications → GENERAL section → Product Updates. There's a toggle button for that, but I'm not sure if it's the same for iOS devices, you might wanna check if it's there.

There is no way to remove notification but you can mark the notification as read!
