I’m not sure what you mean. Do you want to change from mechanical engineering to software engineering? Or do you want python just to help you with your mechanical engineering projects?

I want to change my field to software.I don't know any software languages. But, I'm willing to learn them.

Oh okay. Well I think the best question you should ask yourself first is “What kind of software do I want to make?”
Web?
Native (PC or Mac or Linux)?
Drivers?
iOS?
Android?
...
When you know what you want to build, you can google what languages to use. But remember, the languages are just tools, you need to know the problem you want to solve before you can find an answer.
