May sound paradox but - the quickest way might be investing some time first!

Make a good plan on paper about what your program is supposed to do and how (so you don't have to start over in the middle).

Writing the code, run it after every line (or a few lines, depending on your experience) and check if what you've got so far works. Cause after you've written fifty lines, if something doesn't work, you may waste a lot of time searching for the mistake.

If there is a problem, use a debugger.

Generally you will get quicker the more you practice.

Knowing 10-finger-typing and the keyboard shortcuts of your editor will obviously also help.
