What programming languages do i start with as a computer engineering student

Hey guys i just got admitted to study computer engineering i will start in about 2 months time and i was thinking of keeping my self busy with programming i got this app and started immediately with python and html but then it started becoming hard for me to understand then i started wondering whether I was even doing the right think at all. So please i need some input on what i should learn first and what i should learn that would help me or that is associated with my course.

starting with HTML is a good choice for justing getting to know a script, python is kind of a level up for understanding computing and algorithms.

but it all comes down to what your career to be, eg- Software engineer, Game Developer, Web Designer
